Osho Festival in Patna and Mumbai

Osho Mahotsav in Patna and Mumbai

January 19, 2005 is Oshos punyatithi. Fifteen years ago, in 1990 he left his
body on this day. His lovers and disciples all over the world celebrate this day
as Osho Mahotsav.

There will be a one-day meditation and celebration event in Patna at Vidyapati
Bhawan on 16th of January as a tribute to Osho. Swami Chaitanya Keerti from Osho
World Foundation, New Delhi will conduct this meditation and sannyas initiation
event, and Ma Sangeet Divyam ( popularly known as Ranjana Jha, disciple of
Padmavibhushan Smt Kishori Amonkar ) will sing songs in devotion to Osho. Her
new album Sadguru Tumko Pranam published by Tao Music will be released on the
occasion.

Later Swami Chaitanya Keerti and Ma Sangeet Divyam will proceed to Mumbai where
they will conduct more such events from 19 to 21 January in Thane, Ghatkopar and
Kandivli. There Oshos secretary Ma Yoga Neelam also will join in to lead these
events.

Osho does not teach any religion and does not belong to any particular religion.
What he really teaches is religiousness - the real fragrance of all the flowers
of existence, the Buddhas, the mystics and sages that this world has known. Osho
has given thousands of discourses on all the well-known and not so known mystics
of the worldfrom Ashtavakra to Zarathusthra .

Osho is a modern day mystic whose wisdom, clarity and humour has touched the
lives of millions of people around the world. His insights are creating the
conducive atmosphere or Atma-Sphere for the emergence of what he calls the
New Man or Zorba , the Buddha the combination of celebration, dance and song
of Zorba and the silence, stillness and meditation of the Buddha, the meditation
of the East and the materialism of the West. Zorba the Buddha is a totally new
human being who is an awakened one, and he is life-affirmative and free.
